On May 25th, Minneapolis Police killed George Floyd kneeling on his neck during an arrest. On March 13th, plain-clothed Louisville Metro Police entered 26-year-old Breonna Taylor’s apartment and shot her eight times. On February 23rd, 25-year-old Ahmaud Arbery was chased, shot, and killed by two white vigilantes while on a jog in Brunswick, Georgia. On January 7th, James Lowery died under suspicious circumstances when Paterson Police transported him to the hospital with trauma he didn’t have before getting in the ambulance.

We are rallying at the library and through the city to stand in solidarity with those that have lost their lives police violence.
